Audacity 1.2.6 for making real audio cassette recordings from uploaded CoCo or Dragon games and programs in wave (.WAV) file format. This is an older version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. I decided to upload a copy in case it ever becomes unavailable for download from the original site.

For Windows 98 and ME there is also Audacity 2.0.0, though there is a little bit of a difference in file sizes between 2.0.0 and 1.2.6! The latest version (2.0.5 at the time of writing, and with an even greater file size than 2.0.0) should work on Windows 2000 and XP, as well as on later versions of Windows.

For Mac OS 9 and X before 10.4 there exists a page containing legacy versions of Audacity for those platforms.
