Cowboy is a game I made when I was around 18 years old and it derived from Shooters. Shooters was to slow to have extra cart moving, so I taught myself assembler. My dad never bought a game instead he stimulated us to make our own. The beauty of assembler was that I needed to make several slow down routines otherwise the game was not playable. To stop the game, press clear.
My sister Natasja and I played this game a lot!
Now I give it to the community!
I hope you'll enjoy as I did!
If you could tell me what you think?
Cheers
Hans

Cowboy doesn't have sound
I never mastered sound in assembler
You have to play with 2 persons. It is quite challenging

Just like shooters: if you shoot three times at a cactus; you shoot right through the cactus and thus can kill your oponent
Have fun!

Nice one! Well done in converting it to a cas file! Nice feeling that the code runs 20 years later, eh?
I had the same deal with my dad, only books we could buy and then type in the games. Learnt all I ever needed for these days
