Did you manage to get a tape working? I couldn't format the tape on the unit I scanned and dumped.

Tape control and reading works fine on the existing media I got with the drive, but I've not tried any write commands yet as I need to get some fresh blank media, hopefully soon.

I'm actually quite curious to see if the tapes can be transferred to a modern using an old recording device that uses the same tape format, in order to see how the data is actually stored.

My drive isn't registering Write Protect status properly, so I can't do any write commands at the moment. Some hardware debugging required (and disassembly of the ROM for clues...)
