WTB Dragon and game carts
Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
Well, it works fine with a borrowed TV via the composite out, so I need to sort out the NTSC -> VGA conversion

Hi,paul wrote:I emailed them last week about their D64s and was told:

number of Tano Dragon 64 computers
available."
I sent the payment by Paypal, and was told:
"Funds received. Will ship this week. "
So, I'm guessing they haven't sold out...
Do you have the email address that you contacted?
What was the final price for Tano and shipping (assuming you are in the UK!)?
Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
Hi!
The email address is catalog@cadigital.com, and the price seems to remain 45$ for the computer plus 90$ shipping to Europe.
Just ask them, they are very nice people.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
Out of curiosity, does the Tano Dragon come with any joysticks?
Also how do you run a machine intended for 110v if your mains electricity is 240v?

Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
There are no joysticks in the Tano Dragon box (neither on the original Dragon machines, to be fair).
Regarding voltage, there are step-down transformers that convert 220v to 110v so you plug it to mains and the Tano Dragon to the transformer output.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: WTB Dragon and game carts
Thanks for the info, Rob.
I didn't realise the original Dragon didn't come with controllers. But then Santa brought my Dragon.
