Hi sixxie.
Here's the audio format info from XRoar running on my Win10 PC.
xroar-0.35-w64
xroar-0.35.1-w64
Floating point, stereo, 48000Hz
3 frags * 1024 frames/frag = 3072 frames buffer (64.0ms)
xroar-0.35.2-w64
16-bit signed little-endian, stereo, 48000Hz
3 frags * 1024 frames/frag = 3072 frames buffer (64.0ms)
XRoar version 0.35 released
Re: XRoar version 0.35 released
Well that's kinda interesting - the floating point audio performed better on your machine? If you try adding "-ao-format float" to the later version, does that clear up the audio again?
Re: XRoar version 0.35 released
Yes, `Floating point' with XRoar 0.35.2 sounds perfect whereas reverting to `16-bit signed little-endian' is definitely glitchy on my PC.
