mad hatter strikes back

Post by simon »

on my ongoing quest for more and more, i cooked a 4 voice player that leaves you like 50% free cpu power

music by utz - player be me...

no samples here... just sawtooth derived waves by the player...

Hi Simon,
I saw and heard that on FB too.
That's another great work with your signature!
The mp3 sounds really great, but the bin file when executed on XRoar
emulating a Dragon is noticiably noisy!

cheers

Cheers Bosco...

note that theres NOT a single sample in sight here... so UTZ done well with the inherent sawtooth (nature of the player)....

whole player is less than 256 bytes... (closer to 128 actually)... the rest is patterns/pattern pointers

have an XM converter for it too... so you can just cook a choon in openmpt etc and save as .xm and then hit it with the converter and get a bunch of patterns out of it as .fcb data....
