Post by pser1 »

Hi,
is there anybody that has planned to go to that evenement?
It will take place next September, 24th Saturday

If no problems appear, I hope to be able to go there.
It is planned a meeting with people from the Retrowiki group.

Hi Pere.

Is Parla an area of Madrid?

I've heard of ParlaBytes. Is RetroParla connected or are they separate events?

They are hosted in the same place and are basically the same

I think that RetroParla is only one day and not too shopping oriented and Parla Bytes was the whole weekend and had more shops.

Hello,
back from Retro-Parla.
This is the link to the event page:
http://rw30.retrowiki.es/viewtopic.php? ... 3&start=16
The page is written in spanish ... but there are quite some pics

It was a Retrowiki members event (all platforms)
A lot of talking and most important 'opening' computers and repairing or 'tuning' them.
It was a lovely meeting!
FlagonBird was the most known game there too!!

cheers

Looks like you had an amazing time!

Wonderful to see you on the receiving end of an award. It's very well deserved!

Seeing the Enterprise 128 reminds me I still need to repair my E64. It stopped working 20 years ago, never really got the time to fault find it, but couldn't bring myself to throw it away...

Hi,
these friends at retrowiki are that kind ...
Anyway you know there have been many people working to drive
that project to the correct end.
We were targetting the Dragon as the plattform for that game ...
And it has ended working for the CoCo2, CoCo3 and now via drivewire
even for the CoCo-FPGAs too

Thanks to everybody that helped in some way ending that project!

cheers

Thanks for sharing these pics of the event Pere.

And congratulations on your award! I know how much time and effort you've put into The Hobbit, recognition is richly deserved. :D

You dedication is inspirational. I must double my efforts to finish my project.
