ANNOUNCE: New CoCo/Dragon video game -- Xmas Rush

Post by linville »

Greetings,

This is an announcement of the availability of a new Christmas-themed game for the CoCo and Dragon, Xmas Rush. The object of the game is to seize the last evergreen tree in the forest and then to escape the evil snowmen guarding it -- sounds silly, but it is fun! :-)

A demo video of the game is available here:

Some screenshots and file downloads are available here:

Please give the game a try during the time-off that most of us have around the end-of-the-year holidays! I hope you will try it and enjoy it!

Carpe arbores!

Nice little game! And cheers for making it Dragon friendly as well.

The snowmen *are* evil. Haven't managed to sneak past four yet...

Thanks for sharing your festive game. :)

I had hoped to have my new game ready for Christmas but it'll be sometime in the New Year now.

Anyway, I couldn't get past three Snowmen, (the tree was being closely defended by one guy and no amount of manoeuvring would lure him away).

I'm glad everyone is enjoying Xmas Rush!

The third snowman is a challenge, but he can be lured away and then trapped by the terrain. The last snowman is the real nuisance... :-)

Anyway, enjoy! BTW, does anyone have a solid algorithm for detecting whether one is running on a CoCo or a Dragon at runtime?
