Hmmm, I tried that and am getting a CC error
All my 3.5" floppy disks are the HD type and I have covered the hole to make them DD
Could that be the problem ?
Thanks again Pere !
I got the HxC SD Card Floppy Emulator today
Re: I got the HxC SD Card Floppy Emulator today
OK I have success ! I found that if I format the disks to 350k first, then I can then format them to 720k
I have no idea why but it works
Now I just need to find a long ribbon cable with no blank pins so I can hook up 2 drives together !
Thanks for all the help
John

Hi,
glad to know you can work with that floppy.
It's a bit strange, I do format my disks right to 720k, no need for the intermediate step.
Maybe a small adjustement on the trimmer could solve that point
cheers

Re: I got the HxC SD Card Floppy Emulator today
So happy right now ! I finally got a .vdk file, which I downloaded from the internet, successfully written to a 3.5" floppy disk and it is working in my Dragon !
I have been looking in to how to do this for weeks and it has taken me 2 full days of hard work to get this done.
Firstly it was getting the 3.5" drives working correctly with the Dragon, then it was sorting out my old Celeron PC, getting windows 98se installed, then the hard drive failed, so I had to start over again. Next I had to learn how to use VCOPY correctly but my hard work and persistence has paid off.
So happy. Thanks a million to everyone here who has helped me !

If you search the internet for a WD2797 data sheet, you can see the adjustment procedures there.
I had to do the same thing My HxC suddenly could neither read nor write.
Fixed !
