Cool, glad to hear it's working (finally!).
Yeah I remember even DOS supported command line pipes, no idea why windows Perl doesn't seem to play nicely.
There's a 2-argument form of the previous method I tried to use that might have worked, but that way madness lies (you end up specifying the command you're calling and the arguments as a single string, so you have to start escaping the arguments if, say, they have spaces in them or other special characters - basically opening yourself up to the same sort of exploits PHP programmers are so fond of in their SQL statements).
