New Dragon 32/64 Software

Post by Mdemon101 »

Hi there new to this forum but registered as I have just got the Dragon 64 with disc drive out of the loft and dusted it down. Is anyone producing any new software for Dragons at the moment? Retro Gamer seems to be able to report on an active Homebrew scene for Spectrums, Ataris and Commodores but nothing on the Dragon. Did Glove ever get finished as I think that was a Gauntlet clone!

Hi, and welcome to the Archive!

Yes, Glove did get finished and maybe you can still buy it.

Regarding new developments, the Dragon is not as prolific as other platform, but I think is accelerating and we may end up with new programs soon.

Cheers,
Rob

I can't find the original Glove thread on this board, but I thought James released the game download for those people who helped with the bug testing. Did I misunderstand or has James changed his position? James, would you care to clarify? :)

Thanks everyone. So was Glove the last commercially released game or piece of software? Is there anything else in the pipeline?

Glove and 3D Deathchase are available for download from the author's (James McKay) website.

Hi Mdemon101.

Welcome!

I'm working on a simple Dragon game at the moment which is almost complete. I'm doing it as an exercise to get familiar with 6809 programming.

I'll upload it when it's done. :)
