Doesn't Shift+@ stop the listing, and any other key restart the scrolling? (You will have to use the default keyboard setting in XRoar for this to work where the @ key is to the right of the P. Then you can hold down the Shift key and switch between @ and any other key - such as P - to move through the listing.)
