I have just hacked the DDOS along with some hardware to give me a CF Flash card as a disk drive on a real dragon 32.
Has anyone managed to transfer PC based vdk files to a real dragon, i have added a serial port as well to communicate with my PC.

Yes - using both the MS-DOS based VCOPY and the Linux DD method.
For Linux you need to strip the VDK header bytes from the start of the file (Prime wrote a short C program to do this - might be in the Tools section of downloads) - then you need to set the fdparm or similar to the right format.
MS-DOS bootable disk with VCOPY.EXE and some VDK images is quicker.
Need to format the disks on a real Dragon 1st though...
Linux method is more powerful and allows use of a decent OS...
