printing on the dragon

Post by wgoodf »

well i found a printer cable for the dragon on ebay and you know what?

it all worked with an old HP i had. no messing, no fussing - it just worked.

i admit i am surprised by that.
a simple LLIST and off it went.
hmm i wonder about the graphic codes...

ahh - this is fun!

main thing tho - the cable and the printer port work. next is the centronics gender changer to see if i can get any serial type goodness going on through that port.
telnet awaits i tells ya!

that worked a treat - so what went on there with that poke then?

as much as i am revisiting a lot of the old hardware i played with when i was wee, i lack lots of knowledge in this area. so what did it do :?:

It sets the amount of bytes to print at EOL to 2, which includes a LF character. I looked it up here: http://www.grempc.demon.co.uk/dragon/info/.
