You'll get in into D64 mode by typing EXEC just after startup. The cursor should then change colour to blue. The D64 supplementary documentation can be found in the forum's Upload section.

No, you cannot use OS-9 or FLEX without a disketter drive (or something that looks like a disk drive to the D64).

Hi rolfmicheleson
Thank you for the quick reply tried the EXEC did not work it said ?FC ERROR
so its been upgraded but not to D64 spec ? a D32 with extra memory and rs232 port if thats what it is. If that is the case how do i get to use them.
Many thanks
Andrew

Sorry, but I do not have any experience with this kind of upgraded D32. Anybody else? You might find some information in the book Inside the Dragon, appendix 5, that you can use to enable the extra memory. The book is available from the wiki.

This looks like its been upgraded to D64 spec, but does not have the D64 roms - so its booting straight into D32 BASIC. This sort of upgrade would have been used by either somebody writing their own code, and/or to run OS/9 and FLEX via disk as both need 64KB RAM and a Serial Port to boot.
