Blank Cartridge board on ebay
Re: Blank Cartridge board on ebay
Whilst I applaud support of retro computers, I think I'll give this a miss based on the picture of his circuit board,Gestel wrote:Someone is selling empty cartridge boards. Check it out:

it looks like he just threw the components onto a board and told Eagle to auto route and is selling what it produced.
I suppose though it is better than nothing if you don't have the facilities to make things like this yourself.

Eagle; is that a circuit-development program?
Re: Blank Cartridge board on ebay
Yes, it is.
I do prefer PCB Artist, because it's free and far easier to use than eagle, in my opinion.

Eagle's not too bad once you get used to it, and is actually pretty reasonably priced for the hobbyest eddition.robcfg wrote:Yes, it is.

Also PCB Artist seems tied to one board house, which is deffo a disadvantage, can you use it to print your own
artwork for making your own boards (as I do) ?
Whatever package you use in my experience I have found that a person can route a board better than an
autorouter though I have to admit the one in Eagle 5.x is deffo better than in 4.x....
