Do you have Terry Reiters email? I would like to buy a Tano. I tried to go to the cadigital website, but it's infected with some virus-stuff, so my PC's anti-virus went ballistic.

Here's the latest info I have dating about 5 months ago:
California Digital still has a significant
number of Tano Dragon 64 computers
available in its warehouse.
Original retail price was $400.
California Digital is offering the
Dragon at only $49 each. These are
brand new computers still packed in
factory packaging.
Because each Dragon ships at 19 pounds,
the cost of shipping is substantial.
West Coast shipping costs
$23, East Coast is about $35.
Foreign: The postal service no longer
offers ocean/surface transit. The Dragon
must ship either by air freight courier or
air mail. Shipping cost to the UK and most
of Europe is about $90 each. WoW!

I got mine at that price with shipping to Europe, but I can tell you it's worth every penny!

Maybe using PM, which pushes a notification via email, would be a good idea.

I wonder if it is worth our while for several of us to club together and make a bulk purchase. Does anyone know if buying several Tanos will significantly lower the shipping cost?

I asked Terry about combined shipping for 2, he answered "The Dragons are too large to combine and ship as one parcel. They must be shipped in two boxes."
But I guess it could be different for larger quantities of course. A shipload of Dragons
