The Dragon 32 peaked at number 2 in the UK fortnightly sales chart through part of 1983. The Tandy CoCo roared up to... 11th for a brief period.
There were so many different computers in those days!
Dragon 32 was the number 2 computer*... for a bit!

I am wondering why the charts start with sales position for JULY 1983. AFAIK the Dragon 32 was launched in AUGUST 1983 officially. Anyone knows?

The chart actually starts with the Dragon 32 second for the fortnight of 9th-23rd June, but what you are missing is that the charts are for the year 1983 and the Dragon was launched in 1982.Dragonizer wrote:I am wondering why the charts start with sales position for JULY 1983. It's not just you! I was halfway through a reply before I noticed that the chart mentions the C64, this belatedly made me look at the year.

The early to mid 1980s were a fantastic time for home computing. I don't think we'll ever see the same again.
Got my first Dragon 32 in 1983 (where does the time go??).
