Are you mixing video modes or is just SG24 and regular PMODE 3 at the end?

if thats the case (eg NORMAL buffer flip) then using an IRQ to do so isn't really necessary......
also you flip between $400 and $1000 - all good - but you could do it cheaper by relocating the screen (eg one SAM register) and a single EORA or something.....

Yeah, just standard SG12 for the first part and then a switch to bitmap mode for the end picture.
simon: Well, it's not like the cost of writing one or two registers matters in the slightest when doing the buffer flip, so nothing I put any effort into optimizing.
