Apart from checking that the ICs are getting the correct supply voltages, I would be a bit stuck without an oscilloscope. I would want to be looking for activity on the chip select signals to the rom/ram/acia to confirm that the firmware is running.

When I started it yesterday I saw this.

But today I don't see that I just started typing in a Basic program.

I didn't have it plug in since yesterday so why didn't I see this again today.

I am using a HD63C09P did that help the speed but I didn't change the crystal.
