Does anyone make adaptors to allow Atari standard joysticks to be used with the Dragon?
Someone asked me if I do them, but unfortunately not - but I don't know where to point them!
Dragon Joystick Adaptor
Re: Dragon Joystick Adaptor
There existed a peripheral called Dragon Tamer that allowed to play with a digital joystick on the Dragon.
I uploaded the software that came with the Tamer, but I haven't seen it nor any schematics. It shouldn't be difficult to replicate though.

Re: Dragon Joystick Adaptor
The other option of course is if someone has a working Dragon joystick for sale...

Herer are the schematics for the Dragon/CoCo - Atari joystick adapter:

Re: Dragon Joystick Adaptor
There was also a company making and selling an adapter at one time, IIRC.
Perhaps it was Altec? Their excess stock might have ended up with NDUG? I can't really remember!
Anyway, think I've got one somewhere... can dig it out and take some snaps if there isn't already any info or pictures of it.

Re: Dragon Joystick Adaptor
Re. the diagram, there is no pin 6 on a Dragon.
Re: Dragon Joystick Adaptor
Here's an updated schematic prepared by mcleod_ideafix @ retrowiki forum.
Pin #6 is the CoCo3's second fire button and is not supported on the Dragon.
