I noticed that the "Stone Raider II" topic seems to have become somewhat truncated. Is it possible to reconstruct it from a previous backup?

Hmmm...

If you search for Stone Raider then all the posts appear in the search results, but if you go to the topic only the last post appears....

Not sure if this is a bug or a configuration setting..

Okay....its a bug or a feature.... the missing posts in each topic were made by users who no longer have an account on the board... for some reason it doesn't display them.

I have taken ownership of all posts made by missing users, so they will now all display but be assigned to "admin".

I'm also back after having re-created my account. Why where the accounts closed? I'd be surprised (in a positive way) if the community is so large that there is a need to purge the user database of inactive users...

Accounts were "lost", not closed......we had a script kiddie get in through a hole in phpBB3 and hey managed to bugger up some of the SQL tables. Backup was a bit to old to use, so had to reconstruct.
