Hi, Folks!

I'd like to give a very special thank to mcLeod_ideafix from the www.zonadepruebas.com forums for scanning the (spanish) Dragon 32 service manual for everybody to enjoy.

Problem is, it's a 18Mb file and, even though the wiki is supposed to allow up to 40Mb files, I cannot correctly upload it. It transfers the file and then... nothing, back to the upload file screen and no sight of the file.

Does anybody have the same problem? Is there a solution?

Just been through this myself - scanned one of the books I've recovered only to find that the forum blanks the upload form as soon as the upload is completed giving the appearance that the whole thing is lost.

No idea if the upload completed or not.

The scanned book is only 10Mb....

You can always check that a file was uploaded by going to http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?title=Special:ListFiles.

Also, Julian, do you have a wiki account? You'll need one to contribute.

Given the last successful update was early October I think you can guess what the result of the recent upload attempts have been.

Not surprisingly I don't have a wiki account - until you mentioned it I didn't know I needed one...

Julian: I have added you account to the wiki contributors list. Wiki edits and uploads should work now. Let me know if it doesn't.

I just uploaded a file to the downloads area, so that part works ok. Let me know if you have further problems.

Still can't upload by the way - as before the page wipes as soon as the initial upload "completes"

All,

I can manually add these to the Dragon Downloads section as it is outside of the Wiki itself - the 20MB limit may be a bug or a limit on MySQL set by the hosting provider.

Feel free to pop them on dropbox or similar and share that folder with me (simonhardy72@yahoo.co.uk) and I will upload them for everybody.

I will get this uploaded shortly.... am in the middle of rebuilding my PC so only have basic web access via a tablet at the moment.
