New member from Argentina!

Post by dragonmarce »

Hello everyone !.
My name is Marcelo. I live in Argentina and I like the retro computers.
I have several. Among them: MSX, Commodore, Atari, Amiga, coco2 and a beautiful Tano Dragon (64k).

A few days ago I bought a CDS CoCo adapted to work with my Dragon. It is an excellent development.

My idea is to participate reading and commenting on this forum. I have a question I am doing right place at the forum.

Sorry for my poor English. I have some knowledge but also use google translator.

Greetings to all!

Hello Lionel.
First of all, thank you for your welcome.

For me, the most important thing is that this is a forum where there is a great human quality.
Secondly I am not a great expert on the Dragon. However it is one of the machines that I use more time.

I would like a new boxed Dragon from California Digital but here we have high customs duties and restrictions on the number of items that we can receive internationally.
Besides shipping costs to dollar value make everything too expensive and heavy shipments as a new Dragon makes everything more difficult.
But .... who knows ?. A miracle can happen !.

Thanks again for your welcome.

Best regards,
Marcelo

Yes. Incredible, no ?.
Currently, and due to the policy of the current government, we can only get 2 international shipments (with some exceptions such as books and some others).

All machines that I received from other countries I bought them before these customs policies. Other machines, I received from the people who came to Argentina for business or vacation.

This year I received a CoCo SDC for my Dragon Tano and one for my coco2. And that's it. I can not get more until 2016 :(
