ROMs download

Post by jedie »

What's about to add the ROMs from http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/coc ... MESS/ROMS/ in archive, too?
... too many ideas and too little time ... Related stuff written in Python:
Dragon 32 emulator / PyDC - Python Dragon 32 converter: https://github.com/jedie/DragonPy
DWLOAD server / Dragon-Lib and other stuff: https://github.com/6809

You pointed me in the other thread to: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=555

This package download/file.php?id=894 is great!

Why not remove all ROM files from http://archive.worldofdragon.org/archiv ... ?dir=Roms/ and add only the XROAR_ROMs.zip file?
I mean only the machine ROMs not the game/app ROMs...

btw. the readme.txt is also great. Why not add the content to a Wiki page? Maybe to http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?title=Xroar ... I can start this.

Greetings... A few of us have been trying to emulate the original 1980 4K CoCo and it seems that the bas10.rom file is bad (but there is another location with a good one). Here is the posting from the CoCo mailing list on the subject:
Allen; your comments about bad rom sent me to the coco archive and i saw in the folder path /ROMs/Color Basic/ .rom for v1.0 thru 1.3 but i see that the 1.0 rom size is 16k also and are the same when i compared it to the rom i got with xroar.

then i went to ROMs/XRoar/CoCo/BASIC_OS/ and saw bas10.rom is 8k like all the others there.

so i pulled it down replacing the one in my xroar folder and it booted. and i get print mem = 2343.

so i think i am running till i fall (again)

-thanks, jerry
