Seems that there are no RSS/Atom feed from this forum here

Would like it to have the update for the tablet...

IMHO it's must be only enable in the phpBB admin...

My work-a-round is a "Advanced search" with keyword * and "Search for any terms":
So you will get the posts from the last 7 days...

"We" have recently canned RSS feeds in our projects due to noone consuming them any more. A few years ago we had lots of hits but since the appearance of smartphones and tablets which browse the web excellently on-the-go, the usage rates have dropped off dramatically.

Anyone have any stats for RSS usage globally?

So you will get the posts from the last 7 days...

This requires that you are on the web page anyway, so you can use the link "View unread posts" from the front page instead, right?

No, because you will get a list of post with 0 reply and not "new post since..."
