Re: Utility to convert Anadisk "dumps" to VDK
Hang on... That tiny program is 13kB and it does virtually nothing! How did we write programs to do anything useful in just 24kB or so?

XRoar wish/patch info?
Hi, I have a strange-ish requirement and I'd love to make XRoar help me :-) My plan is to create a hardware 'addon' for a D32/64 with extended memory/MMU, extra I/O etc. Obviously for the hardware I have to use real hardware, but I'll be wanting to write OS9 drivers for it, and that's where it gets ...

My 'arcade games' disk - VDK
Here is a disk I had of 'arcade games' - various assorted. Note that there were a couple of disk errors while scanning this, so some games might not work Directory listing: - TENNIS.BIN - CANYON.BIN - DUNJON.BIN - LUNATTAK.BIN - AERIAL.BIN - ZEROG.BIN - HUNCH.BIN - OSSIE.BIN - ATHELETIX.BIN - CANDYM...

Re: Anadisk -> VDK
Thanks - got it - I had saved it with sector IDs, but got rid of those easily with a bit of C

Utility to convert Anadisk "dumps" to VDK
Something I just knocked up today because it was useful to me. Give this an Anadisk dump (with sector IDs enabled) and it will produce a VDK file. (If Anadisk couldn't read some sectors, then this program will put the sectors it could read into the correct places, so you may be able to recover somet...
OS9 Forth
This is something I wrote back in 1989 and sold a few copies of. This VDK disk includes the assembler source, and instructions (in Stylograph format I believe)

Anadisk -> VDK
OK, I have an old 40/80-switchable BBC micro 5.25" floppy drive which I've got working on an old MSDOS PC. The problem is that BIOS is reporting 'drive not ready' - I guess the little LED thingy isn't working properly. Anyway, what this means is that Anadisk seems to be able to read my old Dragon di...

Dragon 32 "Quick Reference Guide"
This was a fanfold guide which came with the D32. I can't find it in the archive, so here it is. I've scanned it as 4 A4 pages, but it's really twice as long as A4 in portrait, folded into 8 double-sided panels

Re: OS9/2 on D64
Hmm, this looks interesting - A Coco3 on an FPGA http://www.tandycoco.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=65 As it happens, the board they're using - the Altera DE1 - is the board I'm fiddling with. They've put pretty much a whole Coco3 onto the FPGA (running at 25MHz). My plan is to put the MMU, RAM, fa...

Re: Coco Sound/Speech cartridge
There's stuff on the internals of the one I have here: http://tlindner.macmess.org/?page_id=96 The PIC7040 is a microcontroller, apparently. Something I read said it was a ROM, but it's a microcontroller with built-in ROM. There's no ROM to extend BASIC. There's a dump of the microcontroller's ROM o...
