Re: dragon 32 cassette format ?
Most of it is explained in http://www.onastick.clara.net/cosio.htm and http://www.cs.unc.edu/~yakowenk/coco/text/tapeformat.html The source code of "makewav" in Toolshed might also be of interest. makewav can generate WAV from binaries or from CAS files. See also Tape/Disk Preservation in the wiki.

Re: plug "Cassette recorder socket" into PC Soundcard ?
You don't need resistors for normal sound cards, that's an "iThing". Simple, passive cable is fine.

HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano
Dear Dragon-owners, I ported HDB-DOS to the Dragon 32 some weeks ago, and have finally tested it on real hardware and pushed the bits to the Toolshed repo which houses the official HDB-DOS source tree [1]. I have tested the DriveWire functionality on my Dragon 32 with an inverting USB serial adapter...

Re: Moving to Dragon world
Great work tormod and retrocanada76! We've practically been waiting for it since 2004 - see Boisy's post here: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.hardware.tandy.coco/6074 Sorry I am 9 years late to the party :D I am posting a proper announcement in the General section, instead of continuing hijac...

Re: Moving to Dragon world
Could you post a link to your source code? I wasn't able to find it in the toolshed repo . thanks Ken That's an old, broken link you've got there (thanks Sourceforge for not providing redirection of old locations...). You can search "toolshed" on sourceforge.net then click Code and you'll find: htt...

Re: Moving to Dragon world
Thanks to retrocanada for testing and spotting some bugs. I pushed a couple of fixes to the repo now. SuperIDE seems to work.

Re: Moving to Dragon world
OK, I cleaned it up and pushed it to the Toolshed repo. I still haven't tested it outside xroar though. retrocanada tried a IDE build on his Tano Dragon with SuperIDE but there were some issues on real hardware.

Re: Moving to Dragon world
By the way, I ported HDBDOS to the Dragon and made it run from RAM on a Dragon 32 some weeks ago. HDBDOS has support for the SuperIDE. I had intended to test it out on hardware (DriveWire) and merge it cleanly into Toolshed before announcing it, but if anyone wants to test it before I get to that I ...

Re: Moving to Dragon world
Welcome to the Dragon club ;) For your disk questions I don't think I can help much. What is it that you want to transfer from and to? From disk images on a PC? To a standard(?) 3.5" floppy drive through the Lafumat FDC? I think dantyr asked about something similar here: http://archive.worldofdragon...

Re: New Dragon64 owner
Did you find Rinconete's nice schematics of the Dragon 64 PAL video circuitry?
