Re: dragon 32 cassette format ?

Whilst I'm not 100% sure what you're up to - have you tried running a .cas file through dc.exe to convert it to a wav and using this with your Python code? That way you have a file (.cas) which you can open in a hex editor to compare with, and you'd know that the .wav correctly represents that binar...

Re: dragon 32 cassette format ?

AsciiTable.com lists the codes for the ASCII character set, and there's a good character map in Inside The Dragon if I remember correctly. Edit: Link - http://dragondata.worldofdragon.org/Publications/InsideTheDragon.pdf Edit: Damn. Wrong book. I was thinking of The Dragon Companion but that's not i...

Re: User/Community Projects

Go for it - sounds like a fun project to me.

I'm not really an analogue electronics or signal processing guy, but doing small amounts of it for projects like this is good fun. It'll keep you out of trouble for a while anyway. :)

Re: User/Community Projects

Does the bigger iThing connector have GPIOs? You mean the dock connector? It didn't officially have any, but they changed to the smaller lightning connector recently, which dynamically assigns pins depending on what it's up to. But in any case, they won't let you write an app which uses those conne...

Re: User/Community Projects

Nice! I have a cable which I use to load programs from my iPod, but having the ability to save them is super cool! Cheers mate. Added a photo of one of my cables with a Tech-Flex sleeve on. It comes in really handy for me when testing hardware - means I can write a BASIC test program on the Dragon ...

Re: User/Community Projects

Finally got around to finding the picture of my old iPhone <- -> Dragon cable so have added that to the section. I've also tweaked that DIY page a little, hope no one minds (if they do, they can always change it  )

D32 Play Or Die - Week 2: Weetabix Vs. The Titchies

Ok folks, sorry for being a day late but here's the second Play or Die or for you: Weetabix Vs. The Titchies . Again, I've created a Wiki stub page here - http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?title=Weetabix_Versus_the_Titchies - feel free to add to it. The "rules" are the same as last time: yo...

Re: D32 Play Or Die: No. 1 (?)

I like the general idea, but I played Shaolin Master to death a while ago, and unfortunately there's an even more ridiculous way to win - when you find it, you'll curse the playtesters... ;) I'll post another PoD tomorrow so I don't think it'd damage anyone's 'fun' if you reveal your technique. :D ...
