Richard may surprise us and bring his Beta with him !!robcfg wrote:Ok, Thank you very much!
I think the Archive is the leading edge now when it comes to information on Dragon computers, and this will be another huge step forward.

Re: The Cambridge Dragon Meetup - June 3rd
@tjewell , thanks for your offer, PM sent! I'd like to ask if it would be possible to scan the Professional's PCB. I don't mind bringing a laptop and my trusty scanner to scan it for the Archive. I'll bring a nice camera to take nice pictures too. Now, what's the best way to go from Stansted Airpor...

Re: Dragon Disk Drive
Its a calibration error - On the original DragonDOS interface there are two variable resistors that can be used to calibrate the interface. Its not an easy job and needs a scope and the data sheet. Much easier to change the drive to something else like HxC.

Re: Gordon Bennet - Quickbeam
Cool - I have a "fixed" version of the old file with some added headers so it loads nicely - but the content is different which leads me to suspect that the old one "CASbyPDB" was hacked into a more standard loader. The old "CASbyPDB" one has two files with headers and the loading scheme is slightly...

Having taken the attached WAV direct from original cassette - having issues getting it to load into XROAR or convert to a CAS.
WAV file seems to be good quality, but the loader is a custom one and may have some interesting features !
Anybody fancy a challenge?
