The High Mountains (Port from Speccy)

I have created a version of this Speccy classic for the Dragon, Coco and MC-10. It was actually ported from code for the VZ-200 version, which I found on an intersting German fan site for that computer ( http://www.wolkenkratzerhaus.de/VZ/ ). In the course of porting the program I slightly condensed...

"The High Mountains" for Dragon and Coco

I've ported the ZX Spectrum game called "The High Mountains" based on the "White Mountains" novels and TV series to Coco and soon, the Dragon. See http://jimgerrie.blogspot.ca/2013/12/the-high-mountains-port-from-vz-200-to.html . It is on my JGGAMES6.DSK for the Coco Emulator. I'm going to try to po...

I don't know. But I hope they're doing it again. I've got two ideas I'm working on. Night Blitz:

Re: Retrospectiva Competition

Well Pablo Roldan of the Retrospectiva Contest has e-mailed and informed me that Penguino has won. I would like to thank all the people on the various forums (Yahoo, Dragon, Alice) who helped out either by voting, or programming advice over the years. I'm already looking forward to next year's conte...

Re: Retrospectiva Competition

I did try to vote for Scaro (it's the only one I've found time to play - I quite enjoyed it :) ), but it didn't accept me pressing "vote"... Does it require you to give a score for all of them? I think it does. You have to drag the "stars" for each entry. I just gave every entry at least 1 star and...

Re: Pipe Frenzy and Tunnel Jumper by Jim Gerrie

I couldn't stop fiddling with the Scrabble program. Made some changes to the way it searches its word database so that it just keeps cycling through suggestions until it finishes the dictionary, instead of just making 5 suggestions and stopping. Now when it gets to the end of the list it also prints...
