Re: Some Joysticks for my Dragon
3 Years later, and after a Dragon hiatus, I finally bought some original Dragon joysticks. Not in the nicest of condition, but they work.

Text Adventure Creator Program - was there one?
Other systems had things like Graphic Adventure Creator or Quill, was our green scaly beast ever blessed with such a program?
It would be a shame if not as it does seem to have its fair share of text adventures.

Re: Comparison of Dragon mass storage options
Does the Dragon MMC come with a case ever, or will I have to make one from Lego?
Is there an equivalent for the Dragon of the Stairway to Hell for the BBC?
Also, where are they for sale, and how much do they cost?

Re: MaxDUINO Digital Cassette replacement
Hi Sorchard, thank you for your reply. Your last point in particular was quite apt as that is the one that I tried. I had a load of .TZX files for the Spectrum and tried that. I deliberately chose some difficult programs Alien 8, Pentagram, and WEC Le Mans, they all loaded fine. I was able to play t...

I got some Dragon Joysticks in the end. Quite different, but they work!

MaxDUINO Digital Cassette replacement
Has anybody had any luck using a MaxDuino based digital cassette replacement? I have one which can cater for Dragon 32, BBC, Sinclair (if you can find one that works!), and Amstrad. My only interest in that lot is Dragon 32 and Sinclair. For BBC I have an MMC solution. Anyway, I have a ton of games ...

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.
I did mess with Fritzing a while ago and get a PCB made - it works, so if it's useful: https://aisler.net/p/FRUJQVTV (German company, so I guess you'd have to be pretty quick...). PCBs are much easier to solder :) But this weekend I actually tried learning a bit of KiCad, which was fun. As the simp...

Belated congratulations on completing it Sixxie. I gave up on mine in the end. Not even sure where the parts are now.
Otherwise, I could have used your picture to have another go, but I doubt my soldering would be up to it!

Re: Comparison of Dragon mass storage options
Hi, not popped in here for a while, but I’ve not forgotten my Dragon!
Has anybody tried the Maxduino digital tape device on the dragon?
I know it’s not fast, but I wanted a solution that I can share with my Spectrum and that doesn’t use its edge connector, so this seemed to fit the Bill nicely.

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.
Thanks for the encouragement guys. I know exactly what the problem is; my crappy soldering! Honestly it is a total mess, looks like a chimpanzee on acid soldered it. Half the problem was that I couldn't really see what I was doing, especially with the IC. I'm 99% sure I got the Socket and plug wired ...
