Hi Pere. I went through the same thing trying to eliminate `buzzing' when reading the joystick. I'm always (pleasantly) surprised to discover people still play my Dragon/CoCo port of Flappy Bird from time to time. Like the original it can be pretty frustrating. :D Last Cambridge meet-up Richard Harding suggested making a tweaked version for younger players which was a little easier to control....

I can vouch for Windows sound support being much improved under the latest XRoar.

Also GMC support is proving invaluable. Adding GMC sound routines to Circe's Island was quick and painless.
