Cheers Bosco... note that theres NOT a single sample in sight here... so UTZ done well with the inherent sawtooth (nature of the player).... whole player is less than 256 bytes... (closer to 128 actually)... the rest is patterns/pattern pointers have an XM converter for it too... so you can just coo...

on my ongoing quest for more and more, i cooked a 4 voice player that leaves you like 50% free cpu power

the woes of SG24
ok guys... this is sg24.... (conversion routine done by my good friend Chris Martin from the coco crowd)..... you can take a 256 * 192 BMP file and it will be converted to an sg24 image..... *this* version is using 2 bitmaps and being flickered at 30FPS (code by me as Chris is not versed in .asm)......

well @sixxie.... after pressing reset numerous times, i haven't seen much difference on either my TV or my old c64 monitor, but i totally hear what you are saying there.... the same problem as the NTSC artifacts, but i will have to press reset a few more times to see if this stays consistent /Simon ...

That's some great work guys! I have to say that I wouldn't have expected a difference between say red/blue and blue/red mixing. This suggests that the chroma phase difference between lines differs significantly from 180 degrees. (Error in the Dragon PAL circuit?) It would be interesting to see how ...

When you realized it was gonna work, then we got down to the *nitty gritty* and discussed timing, luma etc etc.
Hopefully we will be able to release some image conversion software very shortly
