Re: State of the art of Dragon software preservation
Hei Rolf! You're right, the current state of art of Dragon software preservation is not as bad as it seems. I told that I didn't go through the downloads section to assign the right colors. I can try to make a wiki page with the list, but being that big, it would be hell to edit, specially table cel...

State of the art of Dragon software preservation
Hello everyone! I decided to take a look at the list of publishers and made a list of all that are listed with their titles, because I wanted to know what's the state of art of Dragon preservation and to help search and dump the missing bits. The information was compiled into a LibreOffice/OpenOffic...

Zorakk The Conqueror by Icon Software
Hello everyone! I just saw this title recently on eBay, and as it wasn't in the archive, I bought it and you can imagine the rest... I dumped it, double (and triple!) checked it, and created the wiki page . It work fine on XRoar and my real Dragon. In case you're interested, the seller has some more...

Re: XRoar and GtkGLExt problems on linux
Obviously, my fault... I tried to compile GtkGLExt, and then tried to apt-get it. Solution was easy though, I just made a "make uninstall" first and then reinstalled it via apt-get. Now works like a charm and with the menu, which I find it's a huge plus. Regarding the graphics chip, it's a...

XRoar and GtkGLExt problems on linux
Hi! I just took an old Pentium3 Dell laptop and installed Linux Mint 9. Then I downloaded all the libs required to compiled XRoar and launched the configure script. Apt-get tells me that zlib and gtkglext are installed and up-to-date, but the configure script doesn't detect them. I managed to compil...

Re: Pirate Adventure - Scott Adams
You're right. There's actually 3 copies of the game on the tape which is not unusual.
The block type may be wrong on purpose but has to be right because otherwise the crc wouldn't match.
I think it is an anticopy measure.

Re: Dumb question: Print color
If you use the graphic characters, you can use all the colours, as far as I remember.
Think of the microdeal text mode loading screens.
Also you can make a program to print all characters and see which are available in several colors, as they are also the base of the semigraphics modes.
