Re: Spanish compilations

Sorry - but for security reasons ZIP is not allowed on the Wiki (and I haven't found out how to easily change this) If you want to e-mail them to me, or upload them to the thread I'll get them into the downloads area quickly..... Re: Cartridge Convert

Sooo, does your code just copy the cart into ram so that you can save it to tape/disk or does it actually try and patch it to run from a different address ?

Cheers.

Re: Dragon 200 Roms

I'm not sure that being PAL (or not), would affect how the roms would run as all the NTSC->PAL conversion is done by hardware bolted onto the 6847 video chip (as discussed in another thread). About the only changes I can think of is that NTSC / PAL machines may run at slightly different clock rates,...

Yep, currently emulates just the extra ram, at some point I do want to try and get it to emulate the 80 col too.

Cheers.

Re: Loading binaries created by asm6809.pl

So the fix is simple - Sixxie, I've added a "binmode $output_file;" at line 557 in the assembler script. I guess better minds than mine could work out how to do a 'if DOS then' kinda wrapper round it. Erk! Cheers! Of course that's the right fix... And something I should really remember to do genera...

Re: Renaming the downloads !

Alternatly you could of course re-join the multiple files back to a single CAS file. Since CAS files don't have a header or anything like that a simple copy /b file1.cas +file2.cas fileout.cas will work.

Cheers.

Re: Renaming the downloads !

I think it's a good idea to comply with the TOSEC standard as some emulators like MESS are moving toward that direction too by having "fixed software lists" that ensure you're using the right images of the software. If there's one thing that bugs me about the MESS team it's their mentality that the...

Re: Couple of cas files.

Sounds an interesting method of capturing images, do you do this with CLOAD/CLOADM or SKIPF (or even AUDIO ON and MOTOR ON)? Plus, is it necessary to run the images through fixcas, as fixcas was created to overcome the problem of the old dc.exe stripping out leaders? For the two above I just used c...
