Kind regards,
Lionel

Hello,
It seems the other too are not in the archive, but at least I could find you a (hopefully) working copy of "Pit Fiend" (in zipped .CAS format)...

Re: Paged directory display for DragonDOS
... Thank you - that's pretty interesting. And it seems I'm already using a patched ROM file unde'r XRoar since my DIR listings already feature such an automatic pause. This and the "print to .txt file" feature have made it possible for me to start transferring part of the ".BAS" files to PC text. N...

Re: New french member
Hello Alastair, Thank you for your reply and comments. As a matter of fact, I've noticed the DIR display pauses after each screenful of data. Not sure which DragonDOS release I may be using, though. But I'm using XRoar 0.33. Anyway, through the "LLIST to .txt file" functionality, I could dump all "....

An old ad from a French magazine
Just found this on the internet: from "L'Ordinateur Individuel" No 59 (May 1984), which was a French magazine dedicated to computers and programming. http://fr.1001mags.com/images/couv/L/LOrdinateurIndividuel/59/24342-LOrdinateurIndividuel-59-Page-032.jpg I should add "Goal Computer" were the offici...

Re: New french member
Also the game "Graal Quest" on which we spent so much nights totally addicted... But I've read that u have it already. Yes, have already uploaded virtual disks with a copy of that game. A project of mine was to try and translate this game into English, since most members here cannot read French. I ...

Re: Hello from germany
Hello, and welcome to the lair, then! If you're already familiar with some early personal computers and how to program them, then I believe you should not find it too difficult to tackle a Dragon 32. And there's now plenty of documentation or resources available, so hopefully it will be easier for y...

Yes, it's fun for a very few seconds. But then you start searching for a paper bag!
Technically impressive, though, given the hardware involved here...

Re: Core Wars - has anyone got this type-in?
Next I'll be taking a look at the disassembly to learn how it works. This is a very good idea indeed: This will teach you a real lot about the way "disassembler" software actually works. Basically, it's about parsing the input (i.e. telling the operands from the opcode), then analysing each single ...

Re: Core Wars - has anyone got this type-in?
... Ok, after messing around with the software and trying to figure out the included commands, I think it's slowly coming back. Hit "L" to (L)oad a program from disk. The following prompt will be displayed: " Then you only need to type in the selected program's name (such as "IMP", for instance). No...
