Very exciting
Will it have support of standard .vdk files and work like a floppy drive ?
Thanks

Re: Playing with disk drives - what do I need?
Thanks Stig, I'll get the controller and drive sorted first, then I'll come back and ask about the software! No worries. I should be able to guide you through the process. It wasn't easy for me, had to use 3 different PC's to get it all setup but now I can easily write any dragon .vdk disk image to...

Re: Playing with disk drives - what do I need?
First thing you need is a Dos controller. You can buy the recently made ones here: http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/details/Dragon-32~~64-floppy-interface%2C-new-10652 You can connect several different floppy drives to that, original dragon, BBC compatible or even a PC 3.5" drive Getting software on...

Re: Dragons Awake
The keys not working will just be a dirt issue, you will need to dismantle them and clean the contacts. I'm not sure what the issue is with you getting the wrong character when a key is pressed, may be dirt related but I'm guessing it's not Thanks for the shoutout there Lothos, Here is a link to the...

Re: Orchestra-90 CC - now running without the cartridge!
Once again, fantastic work to all involved !
Been playing around with it in xroar before I try it on my D64.
Would be awesome if you can get it to work from disk on the dragon, will save a lot of hassle searching through 2500 files from my phone !
cool stuff

Re: Piotr Bugaj dragon disc controller
I think that the switchable DOS is the best feature of his controller. It was me who asked for him to include 1.1c and 4.1.
Chris from the facebook group asked for Superdos E6
I have been using mine with a combination of 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drives and it works flawlessly

Re: File2VDK anyone?
I have a program called DIR master for managing disk files on the Commodore 64. It allows you to open any disk image and drag / drop files across to any other disk image. It's a breeze to use and has come in very handy. Something similar for managing .vdk file would be a dream Hope one of you clever...

Re: 5.25 floppy question
OK guys I would like to use 2 x 3.5" PC drives and 2 x 5.25" Cumana drives together giving me 4 drives in total The Cumana drives have internal jumpers, so i can mess with them to get them set up but the PC drives don't have any jumpers. Anyone know what configuration of ribbon cable I would need to...

Nice one Rob !
I agree, this game deserves a nice page. I love this game, it's infuriating and addictive, just like the old arcade games I grew up with
