Having taken the attached WAV direct from original cassette - having issues getting it to load into XROAR or convert to a CAS.
WAV file seems to be good quality, but the loader is a custom one and may have some interesting features !
Anybody fancy a challenge?

Re: Attic Bug - ebay - Dragon
I bought mainly the titles that are not available for download - they have not been preserved - so they take priority.
Different packaging and other variations are only useful if you are looking to have a 100% complete collection.

Re: Attic Bug - ebay - Dragon
I have grabbed a few from them, even at those prices - but just the ones I have not seen for years and still needed. Which reminds me that I have a box of ~130 tapes that are not yet available in CAS/WAV format - now if only my current PC sound card did't bugger about with the line-in I could do som...

Re: My dragon won't load tapes
This will either be your tape player or the tape itself. Nothing wrong with the Dragon if it can load from a WAV via a PC. The tapes do degrade over time, hence the effort to preserve there content. Usually I set the volume to 75% of its maximum and ensure the tape head and capstan have been cleaned...

Re: Retro Solstice Event
There was no Dragon out for playing on because the D64 I took died on Friday during setup - not sure what the problem is yet - but garbage on screen so possibly SAM.... However the Dragon Professional was on display in the middle section but out of reach from sticky fingers. You also missed the Ente...

I have bumped a few more of you to full Administrators of the Wiki - that should help in letting you clear up the last few issues.
P.S. - Game In Archive was something for myself that simply means I have a physical copy - same for Book In Archive etc.

Re: Dead Dragon Disk Drive -please help!!
Also - check that the drives themselves are not belt driven - I know a large number of original Dragon Data drives were - the belt will be knackered by now and need replacing. Hopefully you have made a record of any changes so you can back track - you can power the drives from cheap chinese +12/+5v ...
