I'll be doing that when the bottom half of the shell is done (been too busy to finish it) - since I don't want to release files that I'm not 100% confident in.jedie wrote:@Rink: Can you made the 3d data public somewhere?

Re: My Dragon cartridge boards (actually work!!!)
@Rink: Is this a DIY project? OpenHardware? With other words: Do you made all information about this public? Where? It's open in the sense that I won't go after anyone who copies it :D but I don't have schematics etc prepared yet for a complete write up. Yep, you could certainly use it for loading ...

Re: Help -possible broken dragon
Hahahah. If you enjoyed that, get yourself a ZX81.
Glad to hear you're sorted. I vaguely remember being up at a similar hour with the same problem a year or so ago.

If you have an Arduino, you can run an oscilloscope sketch on that. Might help you verify a few things but certainly won't be great for heavy diagnostic tasks.

Re: Help -possible broken dragon
Chances are good that your Dragon is fine., and that your problems are either with your file, the delivery vehicle (e.g. PC) or the cable. The standard cable should work but obviously, if it's been broken inside in the last 30 years then it won't. Avoid any compressed audio files just to be on the s...

Re: bricked dragon 32...
The characters doesn't changed. They also doesn't changed if i push the reset button. I get only a changed screen if i power off/on. Hmm... that might be a bad sign. I suppose if you have another ROM sitting around then you could try it. But if it was me, I'd really want to verify that the CPU is a...

Re: bricked dragon 32...
If you turn it on and let it run for a few seconds, does the display change? Characters and colours changing, for example. Trying to think of what else might help you figure this out without requiring any more equipment. You could try typing the Dragon's beep command or CLOAD "" and pressing enter. ...

Re: bricked dragon 32...
I'd say yes, but how difficult it would be is hard to guess. Incidentally, I've done that many times while messing on with DIY cartridge builds and been lucky enough not to damage anything. But what you describe sounds a bit like you may have caused a conflict on the data or address bus and blown ou...
