Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.

Well I finally managed to finish it today.

Guess what?

It didn't work!

When it was plugged in the front port it disabled the keyboard and in game it just went berserk. In the back port, it did nothing.
It looked a right lash up, so I'm not surprised it didn't work.
Ah well, at least I tried.

Yes, that DIN plug was very fiddly, especially the first connection, that always seems to be the worst.

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.

There's a reason why I don't do soldering! It's because I'm rubbish at it.
I just soldered one of the ICs to a board, I think! It's not very tidy, goodness knows if it will work.
Just when I think I was starting to fathom the schematics too!

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.

So today I have wired up a 5 pin DIN plug so far:

5v Brown
F Orange
G Blue
Y Black
X White.

What a fiddly job that was!

Re: Atari Joystick Adapter Build. Baby Step by Baby Step.

Right. I'm back on this today, after a few days mucking about with my BBC Micro. So, I have just wired up one of the D Sub sockets (which took longer than I thought it would! My bad soldering. I had two old spectravideo joysticks which have both donated their leads. Very kind of them. The D Sub is w...

Re: DragonMMC Announcement.

If you havn't found it already, be sure to head over to stardot and say hello there. Cheers. Phill. Yes, been over to Stardot Phill. It seems a very friendly pl...

How many Dragons were built?

My serial number is in the range of 100000, I was just wondering how many Dragon 32s did Dragon Data build?

Also how many D 64s?
And then how many to GEC and Eurohard build?
And what about Tano?
I did try looking on Wikipedia, but that turned nothing up.

Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?

There are some more on the Tandy TRS-80 color computer which work on the Dragon. I've converted 'Karate' and 'Kung-Fu Dude' to wav and they work well. should be downloadable on this site if you go to the android wav archive page. Re: List of Games Missing from Archive?

Just wondering if the Dragon/CoCo has a version of Repton. I reckon it would be a brilliant game for the Dragon, even though I expect it would have to be only 2 colours.
