Re: Tano Dragon 64
I just opened my old 32 for the first time today, and saw that there is a power and video board separate from the main board. Which of the following is your mainboard? (1) 16x16 - Two rows of RAM chips, 1x9 and 1x7 (2) Piggy Back - 6 chips on main board, piggy back board in sockets 1 and 8, 11 chip...

Re: Tano Dragon 64
Thanks for the info Simon! I just contacted California Digital, and they still have them in stock for $39 + $89 p&p to Sweden. My TV-set is multistandard, and I already have a Dragon to Scart cable for my D32, so I guess I should be OK then ;-) BTW I have very likely tracked down a "real" D64 from a...

Re: Tano Dragon 64
Sorry for reopening this old thread.... Do you have any pictures from inside the Tano? I just opened my old 32 for the first time today, and saw that there is a power and video board separate from the main board. Will it work to take that board from a D32 and put it in a Tano? Will that "combo" work...

Re: Jet Set Willy Codes
Simon,
I just tried the one in "Downloads", and it was the "original" with a loading screen that requires the codes. So if this one is "cracked" it should be uploaded to the archive as well.

Re: Welcome Vato!
I don't think they were available in Sweden before late that year (83) or early the next, at least I never saw them in any stores around where I lived. I bought all my software by mail-order from the UK. I just spoke to my uncle on the phone, and he said he bought mine at a bookshop in central Oslo....

Re: Welcome Vato!
no problem!
(1) I actually think it was bought in Norway. I got it from my uncle that lived in Norway at the time.
(2) I use a TV, connected from the monitor socket to the TV's Scart.

Re: Welcome Vato!
zephyr,
thanks, no problem!
(1) Just one old, but fully working, Dragon 32 (sn. 94220).
(2) Yes it does.
(3) Got it in May 1983, so that will be 26 years, I guess.

Re: CoCo 4 and Dragon X?
Yes, wouldn't that be a treat? A USB-based Dragon I/O board with Dragon joystick ports, keyboard port, tape port, cartridge slot, serial port, parallel port! Just plug it in to a nano-ITX board, and you'll have a "complete" software upgradable Dragon! Could be mounted in cases from broken Dragons! A...

Re: cas to wav
Having done several hundred WAV to CAS conversions, and being the person who patched DC.EXE...I have to say that the most reliable method is the patched version of XROAR - its much quicker than DC.EXE and copes with poor quality tapes much better... Thanks I'll try the XROAR again. At first try I c...
