Re: Modern storage options?

DOSonCHIP! http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8215 Comments seem to be from a bunch of people that can't read (or perhaps the user guide doc wasn't linked originally, which would be a major pain), but maybe some wariness is required... Anyway, simple filehandle interface w...

Re: Dragon's Claw

The obvious question is: any chance of a scan? :)

Re: Dragon's Claw

I think that was something that interfaced to BBC Micro peripherals - I'd guess ones that would connect to the user port. I liked the look of it, but we never got one. Edit: did any software come with it? I think what I wondered at the time was what the point of it was without the software for the p...

Re: Modern storage options?

I never really got into OS-9 - I tried it enough to appreciate its architecture, but pretty much everything I ever did with the Dragon demanded full control. An OS-9 only solution would be the most elegant, as an OS-9 module could provide direct access to files as though it were a hard disk, but I s...

Re: Modern storage options?

I should coco! (I'll get me coat)

Would you be looking to make something that worked with disk images on a FAT filesystem, or that sliced the flash up in a direct fashion?

I could probably help out patching up a DragonDOS ROM to work with whatever you came up with :)

Re: Modern storage options?

Nothing that I know of.

coco3.com offer a Micro SD based system, but the ROM in it will certainly need a rewrite for the Dragon (also, he's based in America).

Re: Manual request for Module Man

XRoar definitely doesn't, though I'd work on it if I found documentation. Um, perhaps after serial support. I'd be interested to know if MESS does it. Vcc (coco3-only emulator) doesn't list it on the home page.

Duplidisk 2 - Quickbeam Software

Just noticed that the only one in the archive is Duplidisk 1. This is the version I used to use, and it was often successful! Stern copyright warnings in the instruction leaflet, I'll leave it to Simon to decide if Quickbeam are likely to be up in arms...

Includes DragonDOS and Delta versions.

Re: Help Rescuing Tapes

With the XRoar 'tapehack' patch. I've just rolled this into the main tree (so future releases should have it built-in) and generated a snapshot, so you can play with this yourself: Source code Windows binary Basically, when run with the "-tapehack" command line option, anything read in on the input ...

Re: Help Rescuing Tapes

I've rewritten CAS files for all of those here:

Not sure why the St. George and the Dragons WAV didn't work for you on a real machine, but maybe you'll have more luck converting these?
