Re: XRoar 0.29 available
I had a situation with an old program of mine which worked on 32-bit Win 7, but didn't work on 64-bit Win 7. It turned out to be down to me using a DirectInput interface earlier than V8. There is a list of deprecated libraries somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me... So, in short, you ma...

Dragon 32 was the number 2 computer*... for a bit!
As shown here:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/01/03 ... les_in_uk/
The Dragon 32 peaked at number 2 in the UK fortnightly sales chart through part of 1983. The Tandy CoCo roared up to... 11th for a brief period.
There were so many different computers in those days!

Re: Dragon 64 in Brazil
A nice bundle! The things that caught my eye were the C128, Oric Atmos and the Tatung Einstein 256 - quite a rarity. I'd love to get a CoCo 3 myself!

Re: XRoar 0.29 available
Do not be surprised if there are some interesting things this year. There's a CoCo Coding contest with a deadline of the end of March, that might turn up some Dragon-compatible items. There's Jonathan Cauldwell's Arcade Game Designer, which could potentially be converted, although I'm getting the fe...

Re: Anyone interested in converting AGD to the Dragon/CoCo?
There's a little bit of interest being shown on the CoCo Dev forums and I've been alerted to some rather good video tutorials of the Spectrum version:

Anyone interested in converting AGD to the Dragon/CoCo?
AGD (Arcade Game Designer) is a tool for the Spectrum (by Jonathan Cauldwell), which you can use to make games for the 48K. Mostly platformers and shoot-em-up, it has a degree of flexibility. It is being converted to the PC, which leads to the possibility of having it target other machines... like t...

Re: Broken CoCo2
I once had a 16K CoCo2 with a broken power supply. I tried powering it with another computer power supply, but I could not find one strong enough... the result was a picture that was visible but weak. I ultimately broke it with my PSU fiddling, so be careful! Possibly patronising question: On the ot...

Nice! A very popular demo these days.
Maybe we should all use text mode more often for colourfulness...

Re: Artifacting on the Tano Dragon
The artifacting is entirely down to the display TV/monitor, there's nothing to set on the Dragon to start the effect. The effect will show automatically if you use the RF cable or with a composite connection. The Tano Dragon has a monitor port at the back, which I think is composite. It doesn't show...

Re: joystick problems?
That sounds vaguely familiar... When I was programming Glove I found that exact same problem with clicks getting louder as I moved the joystick down or right. It didn't happen under emulation (then, not sure about now) just on the real thing. I think it's something to do with the joystick taking lon...
