Re: Emulate Floppy with a Raspberry Pi ?

It's actually possible using existing tools! Install DriveWire 4 server on a Raspberry Pi Connect the Raspberry Pi to the Dragon with a Drivewire cable Run HDB-DOS on the Dragon loaded using a cassette quick-loader , or even better from an EPROM cartridge with HDB-DOS rom burned on it. and you have ...

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano

OK, I've made some limited progress with the Dragon Tano. It appears that there is some conflict with Dragon HDB_DOS running with a HD63C09 CPU. I've installed back a 6809 on my Tano and now I don't get the garbled screen anymore! However, I still get with the DragonTano the same results as on the D...

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano

I have done some tests with HDB-DOS on my Dragon Tano (native roms) and Dragon 32, with limited success. All tests were done with HDB-DOS rom images which were flashed (using my CoCo3) on bank0 of the SuperIDE. On the Dragon32: 1) HDB-DOS/SuperIDE with hdblbadgn.rom is stuck on the boot screen after...

Re: HDB-DOS for Dragon 32 and 64/Tano

So it will be needed a converter to extract the binaries from .vdks and put then inside .dsks. I think that Rolf's Dragon Tools should be able to handle the conversion between DragonDOS VDK format to RSDOS DSK. Basic files will need further processing to re-tokenize. There were a couple of tools to...

Wow :D , Great news!
I'd love to test it out both with my SuperIDE and the custom Dragon Drivewire cable.

Re: Moving to Dragon world

Yes, ultimately i would like to patch superDOS to read from superIDE disk images, but for that i would need a disassembled superdos. It would be easier starting from that ;). My ideia is to replace floppy code for superide access. The complete disassembled source for SuperDos is part of the toolshe...
