Re: XRoar and 16k D.O.S.

Hi, Steve I will give a peek at the whole document. The code area that conflicts is this: From $CFEE to $D000 is different code. DDOS11C works OK, DDOS12A doesn't I attach here a VDK image to be used as test with both DOS You can KILL any file that just uses an extent: DONKEY, BTRACK, ASTRO (this on...

Re: XRoar and 16k D.O.S.

thanks Steve,
these are the files I am using and they do not work properly with files that use more than one extent in their dir entry.
The sectors of the second extent are not marked as free at the end of the KILL command, so losing free space (in these cases)
But DDOS11C works perfect.

XRoar and 16k D.O.S. files

Hi, I can't spot what I am doing wrong, but I cannot start XRoar whith any of the DOS-ROMS 16k long (DOSxxdir) Well, XRoar starts but without the DOS. Has anyone tried this? Any advice will be very appreciated. By the way, I have noticed that DDOS12A has a flaw in the KILL command, it just modifies ...

Re: asm6809 2.3 released

Hi Ciaran, I downloaded the new version and it accepts gently the extended indirect. Thanks a bunch!!! cheers pere Pd. By the way, as I had to use JSR [$XXXX,PCR] and the routines were near the code, it has been producing shorter code than the extended indirect I was using :D It is just one byte for...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire

I have taken a look at the V2FLO source, the one that has problems when the disks are not same geometry and have found it very easy to add that control.
So here you are the new 8.4 version with the source as well. Hope it will be the very last one :D

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire

Hi Jon, just finished the DosPlus4.9b tests ... For simplicity I have used XRoar with the DosPlus49b ROM and Becker connexion. The 'standard' disks 180k, 360k double sided and 720K have worked without problems. The dreaded 360K single sided has given these results: - Copying from floppy to VDK file ...

Re: DWEEBS - applications for DWLOAD - DriveWire

Hi Jon, finally I had the time to work again with these dweebs (FLO2V and V2FLO) I added, as you suggested for DosPlus4.9, the needed code to update the number of sectors x track before each floppy disk access. I have modified the code so that now it 'understands' and 'treats' right the infamous dis...
