Re: Printer options ?

Hi John, I use an Epson LX80 with my Dragon and it works a treat (as well as any dot matrix can). Dragon User ran quite a few articles on compatible printers. If no one else already has a picture or diagram of the printer cable that they can upload then I will try and take a picture of mine in a few...

Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

Here is the ammended file. I used a hex editor called neo by hhd software to change the personal details that I could see.
I only hope that there is something still worth saving at the end of all of this.

Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

Thank's for all the help so far, I looked at all the software suggested and found that Anadisk as suggested by Phill was the one that worked (well, the one that I got to work anyway) and I ended up being able to take a raw dump of the disk, the problem that I now have is how to convert it into somet...

Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

Thank you for your suggestions, I will have a look at them in the next few days and report back my findings as soon as I have them (hopefully with an upload as well).
I used to think all problems could be solved with a lump hammer.... ah heady days :D and now back to the keyboard.

Re: Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

I had already tried the /S skip command, but it still came up with "not a dragon disk". :( I had tried to access the disk through DOS and win95 but it just doesn't recognise the disk at all (no surprise really)and just gives the disk not ready, abort retry etc. message. Is there any software that I ...

Delta disk conversion to .vdk help

Hello, I am trying to make a .vdk file from a Delta 5.25 disk. I have an old pc running DOS and using vcopy I have been able to create .vdk's from Dragon DOS disks, but vcopy doesn't recognise the Delta disk as a Dragon one, so my questions are, is there a way to create a useable file for upload to ...

Re: MMU cartridge

I am unable to add anything to this project myself as it is way over my limited ability, but, are you aware of the MC6829 MMU that Motorola produced to accompany the 6800 and 6809? My apologies if this is barking up the wrong tree, but I am enjoying the road of discovery that is happening on this fo...

Re: 28-pin 27C512 EPROM into 24-pin socket?

Hi, I know that the Super Dragon Writer II cartridge from Dragon Data has 2x 28 pin ic's (2764's I think).

I will try and locate the cartridge and take some pictures later.

Here is the data sheet you were after.

Hope this helps, Gareth.
