I hope that they arrive for you soon, as opening a new Dragon takes you right back to opening one in the 80's
As has been mentioned on this forum before, be careful as you open the end flaps of the box as they tear very easily.

I prefer a hard copy of any type of literature (my eyes get tired very quickly these days from looking at a screen, probably all those nights back in the 80's squinting at a green screen for too long) but the whole set of Dragon Users are available in the downloads section of this site.

My curiosity has been raised about the square brick as well.....hmmm I do have a dead square brick in the loft somewhere . I'm sure my curiosity will only grow.

I can't help with a suitable replacement, but I do have some pictures of the oblong power brick.

I have just connected my Star LC-200 printer that I use with my A500 (I bought the LC-200 in about 1990 to use with my Amiga, but have never tried it on my Dragon until today ) and it worked perfectly using the cable as shown in this thread.

There are no twists in the cable, but there is a single space on the ribbon at the printer end
