Re: Dragon 64: No Sound - How to fix? [CLOSED]
Long story short, it turned out that when verifying with another Dragon the conclusion was easy to make, it's my screens speakers which doesn't work... Also, after verifying connecting a laptop to the screen via HDMI resulted no audio. Case closed

Re: Dragon 64: No Sound - How to fix?
@robcfg: Well, TV output isn't something that I can test since I don't have any TV around. But, I'll ask aroud might be someone who has an old TV. But, it's right that the monitor socket is on the PSU board and as well the ribbon cable is proper connected as well - well, I'll double check it just to...

Dragon 64: No Sound - How to fix? [CLOSED]
Noticed today that my D64 don't provide any audio output from the monitor port. What would be the most obvious to check and what would be the typical components (6821 PIA?) that could be bad?

Re: CoCoVGA upgrade
The drilling template was something that came along together with the CoCoVGA. But, I do believe that there is paper template available [Yepp, found it here] at the CoCoVGa site. But, if not, I'm happy to take a proper photo of it aligned with a ruler so that you would be able to print it.

Re: CoCoVGA upgrade
Moving forward slowly and finally got the time this evening to mount the CoCoVGA button board on system. I didn't want to have the port on the dragon case top so aligned the drilling template against the top lower edge and against the power supply port which worked out fine. d64_CoCoVGA_Button_Board...

Re: CoCoVGA upgrade
Next try is to stack the cards with the CoCoVGA first and then the E200 card which actually worked: dragon64_CoCoVGA-200E.jpg But seems that the E200 board is disabled based on that the system is showing the standard Dragon cursor. One step closer maybe to get this to work or not. No big deal as the...

Re: CoCoVGA upgrade
Now, let's give it a try with the CoCoVGA board together with the Dragon 64 200 Computer Lower Case Daughterboard - 200E and see how that works out. First test is just the 200E board itself: dragon64_E200.jpg Works fine, but missing out the sharp image from the CoCoVGA, so let's stack the cards: dra...

Re: CoCoVGA upgrade
So let's mount the CoCoVGA and see how it works out: dragon64_cocovga.jpg Wow! That totally looks so nice with this sharp picture from the Dragon 64 and it might be to sharp for some and it's really about preferences when it comes to how much one should tweak the system. And then again, the original...
