Indeed that was good/fun
Good meeting you all nice being able to chat to like minded people and play with some history
Came back with more machines than I went with and spent loads of money on toys that I think are going to keep me occupied for a few weeks to come
Cheers.

Re: Vintage Computer Festival @ Bletchley Park - 19th & 20th Jun
BTW I *may* be able to get Glove to load completely from the MultiCart if the machine that it is running on has 64K of memory. Doesn't need to be a Dragon 64, an upgraded 32 would be ok too. Look at the Tandy DSK file version to see how it preloads the levels before the game has started. There's a ...

Re: Vintage Computer Festival @ Bletchley Park - 19th & 20th Jun
Right Trekboer, runs ok from cart but takes us over the 512K boundry. So we have two choices, take something else out, or start a second cart, I currently have two carts built anyway so this is not a problem, however we may want some more games to populate it.... Oh and I just won 4 carts on Ebay (o...

Re: Vintage Computer Festival @ Bletchley Park - 19th & 20th Jun
The game is Protector and is attached as I don't think its made it to the downloads section ! Cheers I'll look at that this evening. Having just had a quick look, I don't think that will be a problem at all, as it's a single cloadm that doesn't even auto run :) BTW I *may* be able to get Glove to l...

Re: Wav to CAS
Sorry, try the 20100119 snapshot (edit: or I just pushed out a build today) from http://www.6809.org.uk/tmp/xroar/ . I should really get around to another proper release. Excelent that's exactly what I needed to fix the backtrack.cas from the archive which seems to have the bytes not aligned proper...

Re: Wav to CAS
For WAV to CAS you can start XRoar in a mode that rewrites anything it loads out to a CAS file. Start it with the "-tapehack" option, then press Control+W to give a filename for CAS output. Then Control+L to attach the WAV and load your program. The output file should contain CAS data when you quit...

Re: Vintage Computer Festival @ Bletchley Park - 19th & 20th Jun
When we have a list of games, Ill see if I can put them into the multicart, as it can be used to load both cart and cassette games providing I can get un-protected cas files of them, and will be quicker than loading from tape....
